So I am drove my car to work today again to see if I could hear the whine, and I still haven't hear any (radio off, off boost, 1st gear, 2nd gear, 4th gear, 5th gear). Now let me say that first of all my car is freaking loud, the injectors click like a bunch of tiny hammers, the exhaust is louder than B&B ( a GD special exhaust 2.5" stepping up to 3" this exhaust is even before he came out with his full 3" it also has resonators) [ http://pages.prodigy.net/carlosrg/800/300zx-labree-special-800.jpg ] And also I have a welded in roll cage that has some resonance at certain rpms, and wastegates that vent to atmosphere, Oh finally the stereo system doesn't help much. If any is flying into Atlanta or wants to hear the gears I be glad to give them a ride so they can verify for themselves. I am thinking maybe the guys a Driveline of Atlanta had a few tricks up there sleeves as they know how Leader gears usually have some whine to them. Or maybe I got lucky on the set I got.
